Dr. Sureshkumar V.K. completed his MBBS and DNB (Pulmonary Medicine) from the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. Following this, he pursued Post-Doctoral Fellowship Training (FNB) in Critical Care Medicine under the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Dr. Suresh began his professional career as an Intensivist at the Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Kozhikode, and later served at KIMS Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, and IQRAA Hospital, Calicut. During his tenure at IQRAA Hospital, he also held the position of Head of Quality and Patient Safety Department. To strengthen his expertise in quality management, Dr. Suresh obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Quality (PGDHQM) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. He also obtained European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC), a globally recognized credential for critical care specialists. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Healthcare Management at TISS.

• Cardiothoracic Intensive Care at the National University Hospital, Singapore
• Post-operative Critical Care of Liver Transplant Patients at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
• Perioperative and Critical Care TEE from PGI, Chandigarh.
• Executive program in health care management from IIM, Shillong.
