As Head of the Department, he brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to managing the most complex and critically ill patients, ensuring that our unit operates at the forefront of medical excellence.
Dr. Vivek’s exceptional qualifications represent the pinnacle of specialty training in his field. After completing his MBBS , he specialized in Anaesthesia (DA and DNB) before achieving the prestigious Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) in Critical Care Medicine. This advanced training places him among the leading experts in intensive care.
A recognized leader in the medical community, Dr.Vivek is not only a clinician but also a dedicated educator and researcher. He is actively sought as a faculty member and speaker for major medical conferences and workshops, sharing his advanced knowledge on critical topics like sepsis management , advanced mechanical ventilation , and critical care nephrology. His numerous first-prize awards in medical quizzes and case presentations underscore his deep knowledge and passion for the field.
Dr. Vivek holds life memberships in the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) , and is also a member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).
